Preparation Instructions:
This is a pretty simple recipe to prepare. First take out a small to medium size saucepan. Next wash and rinse your Brussels Sprouts under cool running tap water. Once the your veggies are washed, place them in the saucepan along with the bottled water and salt. Bring the contents to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the Brussels Sprouts simmer for twenty minutes, or until they are crisp yet tender. While the vegetables are cooking, take out a small mixing bowl, and add in the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and ground black pepper. Using a spoon rapidly stir these ingredients together until you have an even liquid. Once your veggies are cooked, drain the saucepan, and serve the Brussels Sprouts warm. Use the olive oil lemon dressing as a garnish. We would like to thank you again for stopping by. Please be sure to check out our many other unique and delicious boiled vegetable recipes.
