Preparation Instructions:
This is a delicious Chinese soup recipe that I got from a friend. To begin first you will want to take out a small cooking skillet, and then add in the dried mushrooms, minced garlic, and one tablespoon of rice bran oil. Saute these ingredients until they are tender and golden. Next take out a soup pot and then add in the sauteed garlic and mushrooms, ground ginger, kosher salt, vegetable broth, sesame oil, and enough water to achieve a desired soup flavor and consistency. Bring these contents to a boil, then back off the heat and let the soup simmer on low heat for two full hours, occasionally stirring the soup. Serve the soup hot with a fresh cut oven baked French baguette. I hope you have enjoyed this delicious boiled mushrooms recipe, please be sure to check out our many other boiled vegetable recipes.
