Preparation Instructions:
Many thanks to Alease from Lahaina Hawaii for submitting this delicious boiled string beans recipe. To begin, please take out a mixing bowl, and then add in the chopped garlic clove, kosher salt, onion powder, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and extra virgin olive oil. Whisk these ingredients together until a smooth and even dressing mixture forms. Moving along, next take out a boiling pot and fill it with lightly salted water. Bring the water to a boil over medium high heat. Once a rolling boil has been attained, add in the trimmed string beans, and let them cook for roughly five to six minutes, or until they are nice and tender. Next remove the vegetables from the pot, strain away any excess water, and then let the beans cool for eight to ten minutes. Lastly, place the boiled string beans into a serving bowl, and then pour the garlic lemon juice dressing over the top of them, lightly stirring it so that you get an even coating. That concludes this recipe, please be sure to check out all of our other healthy and delicious boiled vegetable recipes.
